It may even be a better idea to scrap the feel-good flick in favor of a sleazy film along the same theme as Footballer's Wives. This will be called: Christian Rugby Players - Behind the Scenes and Sex Tapes.
Our sister paper — make that distant cousin — The Times ran a picture of the cast of The Human Factor, the film being made about the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup win in 1995.
It was a picture of the “squad” and we were struck by the fact that one of the actors is a dead-ringer for Brendan Venter. But then a thought occurred: why don’t they use the guy on the “Joost van der Westhuizen video” to play the great man in the movie? Don’t anybody suggest we don’t do our bit for Hollywood.
